Everest Infrastructure Partners ANZ is pleased to announce that it has completed the acquisition of a strategic cohort of wireless communications assets. The portfolio is located throughout South East Queensland with representation from all three major wireless carriers across a range of assets including wireless towers, rooftops and DAS sites. “This transaction highlights Everest’s willingness to invest across the wireless infrastructure spectrum and importantly, the attractiveness of Everest’s innovative business model and subsequent value proposition to the market,” said Will Heapy, CEO Everest Infrastructure Partners ANZ. “In the six months since Everest entered the Australian market, we have closed or have in closing over 25 sites across multiple States which is a tremendous achievement for the Everest ANZ team. I expect this strong momentum to continue given our growing pipeline of opportunities.”
Everest plans to add to its Brisbane based team to accelerate this growth and to support the structural change that is underway within the Australian wireless sector. As carriers divest non-core assets, densify their networks and deploy new spectrum for 5G, Everest will partner with the industry to invest in the critical wireless infrastructure required to deliver the next generation networks.
